• The Cure / Gomez Concert Sound Engineer Rob Elliott joins Plutopia Future Music Summit

    Rob Elliott joins the Plutopia FutureMusic Summit as our concert sound engineer!

    Rob is a top concert sound engineer and was the monitor sound engineer for the recent The Cure and Gomez world tours and has worked with the former for the past three years and the latter band for 12 years. He has also done the sound for the latest David Gray Tour. In between, Rob was the chief sound guy on the recent Intimate Stranger US Tour.

    Rob has also worked with 8th Day Sound for the last three ACL Festivals, worked Coachella in 2009, and has production manager experience at SXSW. He also worked on Live 8, London, The MTV European Music Awards and Glastonbury for Britannia Row. Earlier in his career he worked on tours for Tool, Rancid, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Rage Against the Machine.

    Rob has a B Eng in Mechanical Engineering and a professional degree in Studio Engineering. Born in the UK, he is currently a permanent US resident, living in Austin, when not on tour.
